ABA Offers CRCM Exam Prep Course
To help bankers prepare for the Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager exam, ABA will offer in-person prep
programs Jan. 8-12 in Nashville, Tenn., and July 23-27 in Reston, Va. Taught by a faculty of leading industry
experts, the prep courses provide a review of the content and structure of the exam, including all key laws and

ABA Launches New Training Courses
To help bankers keep pace with both a rapidly changing industry and new technologies and learning styles, ABA
has launched a suite of 40 new training courses for bank employees. The courses complement ABA’s existing
library of Frontline Compliance Training and cover a wide range of topics including management essentials,
communications basics, written communications, ethics, teller basics, presentation skills, online communications,
banking basics and verbal communications.
The courses provide concise, to-the-point content, with individual courses ranging from five to 15 minutes. All

Reference Guide to Financial Crimes
To help bank compliance and risk staff protect their institutions from fraud and money laundering, ABA offers a
comprehensive Reference Guide to Financial Crimes. The guide, which is available at a discount to ABA
members, takes a holistic approach to financial crimes, explaining how various types of fraud and money
laundering methods are used by criminals to victimize banks and their customers and providing specific details
and examples of current fraud tactics, money laundering and terrorist financing schemes.
The guide is a recommended study resource for the Certified AML and Fraud Professional exam, covering a wide
range of knowledge areas including governance and oversight, information management, customer onboarding,

HSA Expert Certificate Available Online from ABA
The Health Savings Account Expert Certificate, offered by the ABA HSA Council and HSA Consulting Services,
is a new online resource for bankers to learn about administering account-based health insurance products.
HSAs help consumers and employers by providing a tool for planning, saving and paying for health care.
The certificate helps bank employees educate both consumer and business clients, administer HSAs and
manage the compliance risks associated with these accounts. “Training and compliance resources are
paramount in today's regulatory environment and learning from our experts, who number among the inventors of
this industry, will be indispensable to examinations and customer satisfaction,” said ABA’s Kevin McKechnie.
